Hello & thank you for considering my loan request.

Currently, I am a Project Management professional (w/
PMI certification) working w/ a small consulting firm based out of Michigan
. I attended the University of Dominguez Hills & Marymount Palos Verdes College. My major was Computer Science w/ a Business Minor. I was a 4-year scholarship recipient & was immediately recruited to work on a classified project in Aerospace.

For the past 30 yrs I've managed numerous projects in manufacturing, aerospace, banking, oil & gas, & several other industries. I began my profession in the Information Technology sector w/in the Aerospace industry. I have an only son whom I raised on my own for 16 yrs. Right now I have a beautiful 8 month old baby granddaughter who means the world to me! I spend a lot of time w/ her & expect to become her legal guardian w/in the next few months.

If I am fortunate to be funded through Prosper, the money will be used to pay off my credit cards & allow me to improve my credit score. I'd like to consolidate all my credit card debt & a small loan under one umbrella making the monthly payment more manageable.

Credit Cards to Payoff:
Capital One: $ 1,200.00 @ 22%
Chevron Fuel: $ 500.00 @ 21%
Home Depot: $ 1,500.00 @ 30% (highest
APR
I have)
HSBC: $ 700.00 @ 21%
JCPenney: $ 1,500.00 @ 21%
Target Visa: $ 1,000.00 @ 15%
Tiger FCU: $ 2,000.00 @ 15%
Medical / Loans: $6,600.00 @ 18%

Explanation of Public Record:

The public record (& subsequent release) on my credit report is for vessel property tax for the 26' sailboat I own. When I relocated, I submitted my forwarding address to the US Post Office, but did not know that property tax bills could NOT be forwarded. Therefore, I did not receive a bill when the taxes were due although I thought I would. I immediately paid the bill when I discovered it was late, but by then it had already appeared on my credit report. I'm now much more careful w/ my annual accounts.

Monthly Net Income: $ 6,400

Monthly Expenses BEFORE PROSPER LOAN: $ 4208.00 (incl. mortgage)
Housing: $ 2,375 (Mortgage)
Insurance: $ 84
Car expenses: $ 160
Utilities: $ 114
Phone, cable, internet: $ 100
Food, entertainment: $ 250
Clothing, household expenses: $ 175
Credit cards & other loans: $ 303.98 (credit cards only)
Other expenses: $ 646 (other loans)

Monthly Expenses AFTER PROSPER LOAN: $3,058 (incl. mortgage)

As you can see, I will have over $3,142 left over w/ which to pay my Prosper loan.

My financial situation is improving now, & improving my credit is a top priority for me. I personally want to reassure the Prosper lenders that their investment in me is quite safe. The repayment of this loan will be my 1st priority each month & payments will be automatically withdrawn each month. I sincerely promise to make all my payments on time & never default on this loan.

Thank you
