Purpose of loan: I would like to payoff a very short-term loan to a friend and my Amex card that I used to pay the tuition for the entire school year of my 3 children in private school. Had to do it to get a 5% discount if paid in full. I also want to pay off a credit card just to make one payment My financial situation: I have an excellent credit record. I pay all my bills ontime and never missed one. My credit rating is very important to me. I don't play around. The only reason I don't have an AA credit rating is due to the crash of the tech market in the late 1900s. Since then, Praise be to God, I've maintained a good paying job and haven't bitten off more than I could chew in bills. I'm a person who learn from his mistakes.
