Hello, and thanks for taking the time to review my listing.  The purpose of this loan is to turn my 3 credit cards with high interest rates into one payment, and one interest rate.  Currently, my average credit card rate is 26.9%.  If I continue the path that i'm on, it will take me over 6 years to pay off my credit card debt, were as, if I get funded through Prosper.com, I can be 100% debt free in 3 years at most.

Now, a little bit about me.  I am a Sergeant in the United States Army and have been a soldier for just under 4 years(including basic training and AIT).  I have served overseas in Afghanistan(5 months) and Iraq(14 months), and am now trying to become a Commissioned Officer.  I am currently trying to get accepted into WestPoint College, but they seem to favor soldiers with little debt and an "A" credit report.  By paying off my credit cards, I should be well on my way to a 700 FICO score.  I am happily married(4 years), with a new 11 week old daughter, and am a homeowner.  The only reason I have "C" credit is because of a bounced check 5 years ago when I was 19, before I enlisted in the army.  I pay all my bills on time, including my mortgage payment and my credit cards.  Please note that I have 0 delinquencies and 0 public records.  Also, the reason my income shows $1-24,999 is because I was deployed, and on my W-2, it doesn't show tax-free wages in box #1.  I will be more than happy to email or fax a copy of my 2006 W-2 to anyone interested.  In 2006, I made $33,554.12 , and out of that, $9,093.00 was taxed by the government.  So, for the sake of Prosper.com, I earned $9,093.00 in reportable income last year.
