Lower interest rate on credit card While reviewing a recent credit card statement, I noticed the interest rate had crept up a great deal. This despite on time or early payments well in excess of the monthly minimum. Having used prosper as lender, it occurred to me to try using Prosper as a borrower to reduce the interest and have a clear end date for this debt. A little about me, I live in Portland, OR and have worked for the same employer since January of 1996 right after graduating from the University of Florida. Assets include $40K in 401k, $4K in cash, 6K in stocks and a pension with a value of $12k. I am a howeowner. I make approximately $4833 per month, never make a late payment and do not anticipate any challenges repaying this loan promptly or early. |
