Purpose of loan: It costs money these days to be an artist...supplies, prints, exhibition fees, webpage. I used up the proceeds from the sale of my last house, working as hard and as creatively as I've ever worked before trying, at my age, to at last fulfill the dream I had as a child of becoming the artist I was meant to be. I've recently sold prints of my pencil portraits on EBay but the amount of those sales were but a drop in the bucket. I'd rather sell art than ask for help from strangers and have almost got my webpage done. (What a chore!) What the loan will be used for is to pay down one particular high interest credit card; help with moving expenses; and provide some breathing room for me to keep on working at my art.
