Purpose of loan: I will use this loan to payoff high interest credit card debts. One card is at 32% (totally ridiculous) and the other is at 13% (still kinda high but not as bad as the first one!). My financial situation: As you can see from my credit rating I do everything I can to pay back my obligations on-time if not earlier. I am trying to finish some financial housekeeping to consolidate the highest interest rate obligations that I have. Monthly net income: $ My wife and I have a combined monthly net income of $5702.84 Monthly expenses: $ Housing: $ $1400 Insurance: $ 91.67 (House and car ins.) Car expenses: $ 600 Utilities: $ 200 Phone, cable, internet: $ 125 Groceries: $ 200 Credit cards and other loans: $ 375 (would be cleared by prosper loan) To Potential Bidders: There have been several potential bidders on previous listings who seem to think that they are above me, a better person than I am, etc. and generally have an attitude. If you are one of these people, please don't bother bidding on my loan or even posting a question, questioning why I would bother asking for a loan with my 'attitude'. I believe that all people are equal and should have equal access to opportunity. Whether they take that opportunity or not is a totally different story. I am not asking for a handout, as anyone who does bid on this loan is going to make money from the interest. I could almost understand someone wanting to belittle someone or try to make them feel small if the person was asking for a handout, but a loan at 15% interest is hardly a handout.
