Purpose of loan: We are a relatively new business, named Your Green America (www.yourgreenamerica.com), having started in May of this year. We have an opportunity to participate in the Suburban Boston Home Show which is taking place September 28th, 29th, and 30th. This is one of the largest such shows in New England. Here, we will be able to showcase our unique line of Renewable and Alternative Energy Products to at least 25,000 people. This will be our first such trade show, and we need to purchase a booth, graphics, audio/visual equipment, and other marketing materials, along with the cost of the space. My financial situation: I have been continuously employed for most of my adult life. I am currently employed full time while operating Your Green America on the side. I have been in my present position since 2001. The blemishes that show up on my credit report are directly related to my divorce 4 years ago. An oversight on my attorney's part left me vulnerable as my name was left on the marital house, a car, and a gas credit card. My ex-wife was made responsible for those debts in the divorce decree, and she has been late several times in the last 4 years. With the exception of the credit card, which she has defaulted on, she has made every other payment, even the late ones. I make my payments on time, and I have almost completely paid down a $32,000.00 debt that I inherited in the divorce. I have grown aprroximately $10,000.00 in credit card debt starting up this company. I may address with future Prosper loans, but the hope is that the sales from this trade show will take care of most of it. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about the above deliquencies, or other questions you may have.
