I am a 41 year-old wheel chair bound country girl. I live in my own home with my older sister who is also disabled. This home was left to us by our father & it?s paid for. It?s an older East Texas home in a rural location, but it needs some repairs. There is a pipe that is rusted shut in the wall in the kitchen (my Dad plumbed the kitchen with 4" cast iron pipes!) and a plumber will have to remove the wall under the cabinets to get to it. The other matter to be addressed my car repair. It has a leak in the radiator and might have a cracked block. Being unable to check the fluids myself, I had to depend on others to check them for me, unfortunately, the radiator ran dry. I am stuck without transportation to the grocery store & my medical appointments. Life is good in the country. My favorite hobbies are reading, music, Nascar and my internet buddies. My cat "Laney" and my birds "Bones" & "Riff-Raff" are my babies. I love East Texas and have never lived anywhere else, but I would love the opportunity to travel someday.
My financial situation: 1. Our combined salary each month is $1350.00. It is direct deposited into a joint account, so the loan payments will not be a problem. 2. Expenses: Utilities $300, Meds $200, Insurance $100, Groceries $250, Gas $50. That leaves $450 expendable income. 3. My credit report shows a past hospital bill. This is an error. I applied for charity assistance and was granted help. The medical bills were written off. It never went to collections. There is also a collection from an insurance company. This is a company who denied my home insurance renewal and then sent a bill for the renewal amount.I hope you can help us out. Thank you for your interest. |
