Purpose of loan: Actually, the initial purpose of this loan is to increase my credit rating. I have not thought about borrowing money until recently when I first checked my redit rating and found out that I was not A. Then I realized that in order to get higher credit rating, I have to do some money borrowing. If I get this loan, the best place to make good use of it is to add it to my current $3000's investment in Prosper. I know there are discussions on prosper.com about the risks of re-investing in Prosper. However, I have no intention to make money from this re-investment, the greatest value to me comes from the increase of my credit rating. My financial situation: Basically, since I've already have over $3,000 invested in Prosper, this loan is backuped by my existing investment. In addition, I'm a statistician and computer engineer, and my wife is a computer engineer in UNIX system. Both of us are with our current employee for 22 months now. Monthly net income: over $ 3,000 (sum of my wife's and mine) Monthly expenses: less than $ 2,000 |
