Purpose of loan: Although my income is stable and adequate, I have found myself in a bit of a tight spot with a single income and a house that is being remodeled. I am hoping to pay off my one remaining credit card that is at a high percentage rate and finish the remodeling of my home (master bath, kitchen, and consolidation of family room/dining area/living room into a great room). The additional value of these improvements to my home, which sits on an acre in Southern CA, will serve as a solid financial foundation for maintaining financial stability. (explain what you will be using this loan for) My financial situation: I have been a teacher for just shy of 28 years, 17 of which are with my current school district. My income is fixed and stable, and my debt ratio is very low. Monthly bills are easily met, especially if the final credit card becomes a zero balance. Although I have had some credit problems in the past, I have worked very hard (successfully) in the past few years to fix credit problems that I encountered due to a few very poor decisions in my "youth". I am personally proud that my credit rating has grown tremendously and continues to improve.
