Purpose of loan: I need to pay back my good friend of 20 years who found himself in financial trouble. He helped me little over a year ago with $10000 to pay off our worse creditors. I managed to return $5K within last year and 3 months. Other than that I was paying him $250 a month (this includes 9% of interest). He was fine with it till now. Now he lost his contract and he's having a hard time to find another one. I still owe him exactly $4750 and this is the amount I need to borrow. Now I need to help him as quick as I can! I'd rather pay higher interest rate than loose my friendship! Thank you for consideration. My financial situation: At this time my financial situation is good. I and my wife worked for many years for the same companies in telecom industry. Our financial trouble started in 2000 when the industry plunged to the abyss. By year of 2003 we were down to over $20000 in debt. Everybody was telling us that we should file for bankruptcy...but we didn't think it was an honest way to resolve this issue. We re-paid almost everything except $3900 which we're currently working on with the lenders. We are hoping to have this resolved by the end of the year. Now we work for different firms and different industries. We re-specialized and found good jobs. Our combined net income right now is $4500 a month minimum, without overtime. My FICO score as of today is 625 (I can provide current copy) and for past 4 years I worked very hard to bring it up from 500. As you can see I re-pay everything I borrow to a cent and never don't look for an easy way out. Monthly net income: $ Min. 4500 - Max.5500 Monthly expenses: $ Housing: $ 576 Insurance: $ 110 Car expenses: $ 303 Utilities: $ 100 Phone, cable, internet: $ 100 Food, entertainment: $ 350 Clothing, household expenses $ 50 Credit cards and other loans: $ 0 I don't currently have any credit cards.
