Purpose of loan:I have been a single mother of my daughter and son since they were ages 2 and 1. I have always worked hard and tried to instill in them good values. My son had a personal crises when he was a teenager and I had to refinance my home. This caused my house payments to double. I had to use my credit cards more than I wanted to and now I want to get out of credit card debt. My children are grown now and are responsible adults. They both have good jobs and good friends. My family is really close and my children have always had a grandmother involved in their lives. Their great-grandmother died about 2 years ago and she too was very important in our lives. She was my role model. I am involved in the community in my home town and belong to the County Historical Society. My mother and father's families settled here from England over 150 years ago and I am very interested in the family tree and geneology. I am also on the committee for my high school reunions and meet with my friends quarterly to talk and reminisce. (explain what you will be using this loan for) My financial situation: I have worked for the same employer since I graduated from college in 1978. This means I have 29 years of service and I can retire at 34 years. I have lived in my home town my whole life except when in college. I am dependable and I want to be credit card debt free.
