Purpose of Loan: Hello and thank you for taking the time to review my loan request. I am a Deputy Sheriff here in California where I have proudly served the community for the past 8 years. At this point in my life I am ready to start a new venture, selling finely crafted Mahogany doors. Already I have three orders to fill and have obtained my business license, resale license, a brand new trailer and a storage space at the San Jose Market which I have had for the past three months. If I am fortunate to be funded through Prosper, $8,500 will be to purchase the first three sets of mahogany doors that customers have ordered and $4,000 will pay off the balance on my new business credit card which was used for my startup costs, leaving the remaining $1,000 to be saved for any unforeseen operating expenses. My Financial Situation: Lenders for this loan can rest assured that their investment in my business venture is quite safe. I am an excellent candidate for this loan as I am an extremely responsible, reliable individual who always pays his bills on time and as my credit report shows, have never been delinquent on any of my credit accounts or loans in the past seven years. As a Deputy Sheriff, I earn a good salary with the county and am set to receive a raise next month. My wife of 18 years has also worked for the county for the past 14 years as a Sheriff?s Specialist, where she earns $4,200 a month. Currently, we are empty-nesters as our two adopted sons are grown and gone. Explanation of Credit Score & Revolving Credit Balance: Until January of 2007, both my wife and I had credit scores in the 700's, but due to deferred maintenance and much needed repairs, I used our credit cards for the repair and remodeling of our home, landscaping the yard and starting my new business that has been on hold for years. The majority of the $247,687.00 listed as revolving credit is my mortgage. Monthly Net Income: I and my wife's combined monthly income is $7,400.00. Additionally, we receive income for our rental property, and my monthly Veteran's benefits. I also have over $100,000 in deferred compensation. Monthly Expenses: Housing:$6,030.00 (which includes both our home and our rental property) Insurance: $200.00 Car Expenses: $890.00 Utilities: $150.00 Phone, Cable & Internet: $90.00 Food, Entertainment: $200.00 Clothing, Household Expenses: $60.00 Credit Cards and other Loans: $1,000.00 Other Expenses: $100.00 In conclusion, my financial situation is very good and I have no problem meeting all my financial obligations. Starting my new business and improving my credit score are extremely important to me. Repayment of my Prosper loan will be my first priority each month, so I am having the payment automatically withdrawn from my bank account.
