My financial situation:

Hello all! I am a young adult that will be a junior at Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago this year.

Last year, due to financial problems, my parents left me to pay for my college expenses on my own. This was no easy feat, as I am attending a private tech-school. All of last year I worked full time and went to school full time. I didn?t work at some ?rinky-dink? job that other college students would settle for. I went out and got a full time position at a new media marketing firm doing web development. I have excelled in this job with a promotion back in March. The problem: the salary just isn?t enough to cover everything for this upcoming year.

This year, tuition went up 10%. For two semesters, after subtracting my federal student loans, my $10,000 scholarship, and my campus grant, and the $1000 I saved over summer, my bill comes to $8000. Now, it IS possible for me to split this up and pay this monthly through the school, BUT that equals out to $1000 a month. As you can see below, I have just under $600 a month to spend, and this is with me working full time.

I have tried getting loans through my local banks and credit unions, however I would much rather pay interest to you helpful people!

I am a responsible adult, with a very stable job, and a passion and drive like no other. By financing me, you will allow me to continue my education, and to go on and succeed! I am and will continue to be a good investment!
