Purpose of loan: Am looking for funding to grow my yoga business to the next level, evolving from a few class offerings to an expanded class schedule, additional teachers, workshops and teacher training seminars. Funds will be used as follows: communications: Expand my website capabilities to better accommodate hosting of workshops (online credit card processing), active vs historical reference information, additional links to related sites, chat space to answer questions from students. Also, search and dissemination of information by topic/category and community outreach initiatives. marketing: sandwich board/sidewalk sign; class informational cards; business cards; window size posters; workshop promotional materials; initiatives with local schools and businesses, etc. equipment/materials/props: blocks, belts, blankets, eye pillows, window tinting, low level lighting, dried flowers, storage shelves, vacuum cleaner, music, sound system; My financial situation: My yoga business is just one-year in the making and has passed the break-even point and is earning enough money to cover operating expenses with a little left over each month. Summer season is notoriously slow but I have experienced steady growth this summer which lends confidence to my goal of doubling my revenues over the next twelve months. My husband?s income is sufficient to cover all of our household expenses so my business is not encumbered by any non-business related costs.
