I have 1 delinquent bill currently showing from a late 90 day payment.  In the fall of 2005, my parents were going through divorce and I dedicated all my extra money to financially support my mother.  It was either that or she became homeless as she was only working a part-time job at the time.  As a result, one account became delinquent and I was unable to pay all my bills.  This will never happen again as the divorce is settled and my mother is financially stable again.

My financial situation:
I understand that my credit grade is not showing very high, but I assure you that my credit is in excellent standing. All of my bills are paid on time, most of which come out of my checking automatically.  I also pay above the minimum payment on almost all of my outgoing bills every month.  I have never had a problem paying back a loan.  I paid off my truck loan of $15,000 to my parents in 2.5 years.  I accumulated this debt by spending 2 years in the hospital fighting Osteosarcoma (bone cancer).  I lived in the hospital 20 out of 30 days a month receiving chemotherapy treatment for tumors in my leg.  I was unable to work and support myself at this time.  For more information about my medical condition please see my profile page.

In regards to my current housing, I live with a married couple whom have been close church friends for 20 years.  I have been living with them since 3/2007.  Before I moved in March I was paying $600 a month housing cost.  I was living with my best friend until he decided to marry his fiance of one year this past May.  In Fall 2008/2009 I will move to upstate New York to be near my fiance and we will be splitting a monthly housing cost of approximately $1,200.  My fiance is a Spanish/English teacher at a Christian high school in Niagara Falls, Canada.  Her approximate income is $45,000+ a year which will dramatically help with our living situation.

Income:
Gross income: $3,034 per month
Net income: $2,242 per month

Total expenses
  Housing: $0
  Insurance: $75
  Car expenses: $200 Gas
  Utilities: $0
Phone, cable, internet: $280 ($100 calling card to Canada)
  Food, entertainment: $200
  Clothing, household expenses $100
  Other expenses: $150
  Total: $1005

Cash flow
$2,242 - $1005 = $1,237

Of this $600 goes to my credit card/motorcycle payments; this will be replaced by the Prosper loan.  My extra money that I do not allocate to paying debt goes into savings for 3 purposes: An eventual move to New York, an eventual wedding and for travel to visit my fiance.
