Credit Card Consolidation I am tired of giving my money to credit companies. I'd much rather help someone profit individually. My financial situation: I never make a late payment. I have very few bills. The majority of my debt is on an American Express card($2500) which gave me a no interest for life of my balance transfers. I pay about 150% of the payment per month, but didn't mind getting the free money. The other $3500 of my debt was recently incurred from buying a new computer. I am planning a trip to Europe and have a nice amount of cash set aside for that trip, but would rather not use it to pay off my debt. Having an emergency fun is a good idea. I own my car and hate driving so I have the most basic insurance and pay very little in maitenance and gas. I'm not into clothing, so I rarely spend money on clothes. I do like traveling, but most of that is done by saving for a year and then spending that money on the trip. Monthly net income: $2600 Monthly expenses: $1080 Housing: $300 Insurance: $80 Car expenses: none, paid off! Utilities: 50 Phone, cable, internet: Only have my share of the family plan on a cell phone, $50 Food, entertainment: $300 Clothing, household expenses $100 Credit cards and other loans: $250 Other expenses: none |
