Purpose of loan: I currently have 4 credit cards which all have relatively low interest rates, except for one of them. The balance on this card was on a special 2.99% for 12 months and the promo rate has expired. It has now jumped up to 18.5% for a balance of $9,840. I am trying to get a better rate here on Prosper so I can pay off this high rate card. My financial situation: I am a great candidate for this loan as I have the income as you can see from my reported wages and from my credit report you can see I have no delinquencies or judgements. I have never missed a payment before and won't begin now. All this debt was accrued mostly during college as I was one of those suckers that started applying for all those credit cards that I was sent in the mail. Also, I took on a good portion of my wife's debt when we got married two years ago. Monthly net income: $ 5,000 Monthly expenses: $ Housing: $ 1200 Insurance: $ 500 Car expenses: $ 600 Utilities: $ 300 Phone, cable, internet: $ 100 Food, entertainment: $ 200 Clothing, household expenses $ 200 Credit cards and other loans: $ 1000 Other expenses: $ 500 |
