Purpose of loan: I want to pay off some old closed credit card accounts that are hanging around, slowly getting paid down. I learned the lesson that when you close an account before paying it off, the companies will really stick it to you in the form of really high interest rates. This will allow me to go ahead and pay them off, and get out from under their abusive interest rates. My financial situation: I am working a full time job as an employee, and expect to stay for the rest of my career. If not, I have experience as an IT consultant, so I can get work elsewhere, if necessary. I also play bass guitar in a band for extra income.
