Hello and thank you for viewing my listing. This is my second full duration listing. My first ended at 64% funding and was very encouraging. I have increased the rate and lowered the amount to borrow. I am a disabled 60 year old retired from the hospitality industry where I spent 30 years constructing and renovating hotels and resorts around the world. After 6 years of battling a crippling heart and vascular disease, GOD's plan took me down the path of recovery. My health has stabilized and I can start once again to enjoy the wonders about me, my beautiful Wife, our four sons, and our three lovely grandchildren. During the nearly 2.5 years since I last worked we, early on, exhausted our savings. While my legal firm did battle with my long term disability provider and with the Social Security Administration, we started to use credit cards and short term loans just to put food on the table and pay our living expenses. Since I retired in San Francisco with its high cost of living, I was soon forced to move my wife and me to Georgia for its more favorable cost of living as well as being close to my family. A dear friend helped to make it possible to buy a home there on a lovely little lake. My legal matters are now sorted and my income will continue until my death. I did what I thought I had to do at the time for my family. With GOD's help I will never have to do that again. Unfortunately, since I got into this crushing Credit Card and small loan debt, I now need help to get out. I would use the Prosper Loan to pay off the following $1930 Jefferson Financial (loan) $2100 Select Comfort Bariatric Bed CC $4500 Discover CC $4900 Chase/Sony CC $2304 Household Bank CC ------- $15734.00 - Total amount of Debt to pay off with loan As I said before, I am permanently and totally disabled but I am not dead! I am healthy enough to really start enjoying my life once more. I now have a very good income, especially for the area I live in, and a wonderful supporting wife and family. I also have a fantastic church family that tolerates my wheelchair blocking part of the aisle and my exceedingly exuberant baritone when singing our praise to GOD. My current monthly net household income is $7300. Here's my monthly budget with the prosper loan in place: $1226 - Mortgage PITI $180 - Electricity $230 - Telephone/Internet/Cable $375 - Car Payment $51 - Insurance $30 - Gas $1200 - Other Credit Cards not paid off with loan $280 - Groceries $100 - Recreation -------------- $3672 - total monthly expenditures As you can see, I have over $3628 left over to be used, not only for my Prosper Payment, but for savings and emergencies so that I never get into this situation again. I can begin to live a normal life free from the stress caused by Credit Card and short term debt. I have learned my lesson only too well. I promise that my payments to Prosper will be my top priority each month. In fact, I am going to have Prosper automatically withdraw my payments each month so that everyone, including myself, knows that my payment will be made on time, every time. I'm not about to make a mistake with this opportunity to start rebuilding my credit. Thank you again for viewing my listing and GOD bless. |
