Purpose of loan: This loan will put me closer to becoming debt free on all my revolving, unsecured credit card debt that is 20% or higher. I still have student loans and car loans that are installment based and at low rates, thus I will not need assistance with those. My financial situation: Due to my past and current history of payment bills on time, I am a good risk for this loan. Additionally, I believe that this network is amazing, and because loans are made through the generosity of others, I am simply grateful and happy to pay this back, especially knowing that the term is for three years. Although, I could go to a bank to do the same thing, I would rather acquire a loan this way which is people directly helping people. Lastly, I work for an investment firm and our credit is monitored closely; I have to remain in good standing as part of my job requirements. Bottom line, my goal is to become completely debt free and not use credit cards again. To that end, I have limited my spending. I don't buy new clothes, nonessential items, limit eating out and entertainment, I'm canceling my cable, no vacations, and I'm starting to take the metro more to save gas money.
