Purpose of loan: I have an unsecured loan that is charging me 32% interest. I would like to lower to use the prosper loan to refinance that loan. My financial situation: I am a home health care nurse. My husband is retired disabled veteran and brings in an additional $2800 per month through service connected. I typically have between $1000-$1500 left over each month after Roth investment and a little into the savings account. My current fee for the loan I wish to refinance is around $530 each month. I would use the prosper loan to pay off that balance in full I do see that the prosper payment might be $100 more. However, I have more than enough room in the budget to handle that and it would be well worth it to make progress on this loan. The one delinquency is for my mortgage. I paid extra a few months in a row last year and the company got confused and applied it to an escrow account instead of to my monthly payment. It is straightened out now. Monthly net income: $ 5400 after taxes (high tax bracket) ,$2800 from my husband, and $500 rent from my daughter. Monthly expenses: $ Housing: $ 2250 Insurance: $ 200 Car expenses: $300 (gas) Utilities: $ 400 Phone, cable, internet: $ 150 Food, entertainment: $ 300 Clothing, household expenses $ 50 Credit cards and other loans: $ 500 Other expenses: $ 100 misc (mostly buying clothes for my grandchildren as needed) |
