Purpose of loan: I will be using this loan to eliminate a high-interest revolving credit line, and a VISA card. My financial situation: I have been hired by General Motors after 9 years of contract engineering for them. I was hired into the low end of the pay scale for the position I'm in. I was in a nasty divorce situation in 2000-2002, and got stuck with $25,000 in credit card bills. Only now is my credit regaining the score points I lost.
