Purpose of loan: I will be using this loan to consolidate all of my credit cards (all very high interest rates) and pay off a remaining balance of $300 for medical services incurred in 2006. My financial situation: I was laid off in 2004 and 2006 due to the economy in automotive and real estate! Since January 2007 I have been working in medical device sales and things are finally starting to look up for career satisfaction. I enjoy my job and make a good salary plus supplemental commission but I am facing high-interest credit card debt that I can't get out from under. Consolidating these cards into one lump payment would allow me to improve my credit scores and save money that I could reinvest with others through Prosper.com and save for my childrens' education.
