Purpose of loan: I'd like to start funding Prosper loans on a wider scale than I've been able to thus far. My financial situation: I managed to rack up a good amount of credit card debt while in college, but am getting that paid down due to the wonders of full-time employment and a personal loan with a reasonable interest rate (~15%). I recently asked for money from the Proper community to further consolidate my debt, hoping to get a loan with a better interest rate than my personal loan. However, my loan request didn't go through because I couldn't set my interest rate above 8.31%. I've discovered that by choosing to take out a business loan, I can raise my interest rate to a more attractive level. I've therefore decided to ask for money to reinvest in Prosper, as I'm comfortable with the rate at which I've been paying off my debt and I'd like to get more involved in this community. I'm particularly interested in funding loans for those attempting to get an education or start a business, so much of my investment activity will be focused in those areas, should I get this loan.
