I am a recently divorced man who is currently employed in the finance department of a large steel company for over 34 years. I have been officiating high school and college basketball, volleyball, baseball and football  the past 23 years.

During the past 8 months of my separation and finalizing my divorce, I have accumulated plenty of debt keeping up with two households.

I will use my Prosper loan to pay off these bills:

American General - $1300 @ 32.84% -mo pymt=$123
Citi Financial - $3900 @ 25.99% -mo pymt=$147
Impact Cash - $520 @ 1095% -mo pymt=$240
US Fast Cash - $455 @ 684.38% -mo pymt=$210
Cash Tree - $250 @ 829.54% -mo pymt=$100

I previously used a financial service in 2001-02 that handled my debt consolidation until the federal government shut them down. I lost quite a bit of money and had all my creditors now coming after me for total payment. I had to file bankruptcy in November 2002, which was discharged in February, 2003. There are 3 public records on my credit report, one is the bankruptcy and two are tax liens that have been paid. There were also plenty of adverse accounts still on my file from back when I filed the bankruptcy but there are now new accounts under the satisfactory account listings that I am keeping up to date and want to continue to do so. I'm looking to make my Life better!

My Budget:

Income - $2720 net per month
Officiating Income - $540 (ave. per month/ this is low, it is probably $200 higher per month)

TOTAL INCOME = $3260

Expenses:

Rent - $525
Utilities - $160
Food - $180
Car Loan - $485
Gas - $275
Chase Card (0%) - $30
Insurance - $90
Prosper Loan - $245

TOTAL EXPENSES (including Prosper loan)= $1990

I would like to eliminate my high interest debt and have one easy payment for the next three years or less. You can be assured I will pay back my Prosper loan in a very timely manner and my payment will be automatically withdrawn from my checking account. The $1270 difference between income and expenses will be used to build savings, pay miscellaneous expenses and hopefully be used to be a lender in the Prosper program. My goal is to be debt-free in the next three years and be able to invest plenty of money in Prosper!
Thanks to everyone who will be able to help in funding my loan request. God Bless!
