I am opening a coffee-house in the Denver, Colorado area with long-term plans to become the family-friendly alternative to Starbucks. I have raised 2/3 of my start-up funding and am now trying to find the rest of it, hopefully in part from a Prosper lender. I am a great loan candidate with excellent credit (a credit score of 790) and very low debt-to-income ratio. I pay my credit cards in full every month, and paid off my car two years early. I have a very strong business plan, which includes a solid marketing plan and a promising financial plan, available upon request. My first year Projected Sales Revenue is over $300,000, increasing to over $400,000 by FY-03, and show a Projected Gross Margin of 65-66% annually for the first three years. My numbers are well-researched and very realistic for the industry as well as the market in which my initial operation will be located.
About me: I was born and raised in the Chicago area. I attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and a double-major in Italian. I have lived and worked as a commercial interior designer in Madison, Wisconsin; Appleton, Wisconsin; and Denver, Colorado. I have experience as a designer and project manager, as well as several years of experience, including management, in the retail industry. My business partner has a BA from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), and has several years of experience, including management, in the food service industry, as well as leadership experience in several volunteer organizations. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling extensively both within the US and abroad, watching movies, reading, and doing crafts such as knitting and crocheting. |
