I am requesting this loan so that I can pay off my Lowe's credit card. As I am sue you know, the interest rate is very high. I got the card after my husband and I bought our first home. We got caught up in many home improvements. I was kind of a sucker for those three little words--same as cash. My husband and I have decided that we would rather make sure our credit was in order so that we could buy a new house that doesn?t need so much TLC. So I have closed the account, vowing never to have a store card again! I currently have two credit accounts (including the Lowe?s card). I also have a mortgage and a car payment that are also in my husbands name (he drives a company vehicle). I have recently paid off two other accounts, which may be why my debt to income still looks so high. You can be sure that I am capable of repaying this loan. I have been a mail carrier with the USPS for 6 1/2 years. I have been working a lot of OT lately so that I can pay down all of our non-mortgage debt. My husband is part owner and salesman for a trucking and heavy equipment company. On Wednesday, I also paid my last child care payment-EVER (my youngest child will be entering full-day kindergarten in the fall). This actually frees up about $500/month. I will also be dedicated to repaying this loan. I admit to making several poor choices involving my credit when I was young. I have worked too hard in the past few years to repair what damage I have done. I will never do anything that will hurt my credit again. Thanks for taking a look at my listing. Danielle |
