Great rate: We are seeking those who want to help us out, and support propser.com and REAL people, and still earn as much as bankrate.com's highest available checking/MMA interest rate, currently an APY of 5.36%. We have some ethical objections with using the modern banking system due to financial reserve banking, and thus no longer use our credit cards unless we have to (such as online purchases). We always pay our credit cards every month on time when we do use them. We always pay our bills on time, and generally automatically whenever possible. Purpose of loan: I do not agree with 'financial reserve banking practices' (look it up on wikipedia for more info), and thus I must seek loans from, and wish to support institutions such as Prosper.com. I wish to try out re-investing some money into prosper.com loans, supporting this great program, and other borrowers who may be less fortunate. My financial situation: I am an Eagle Scout and will not fail to uphold those high standards. Further, I am a baptized Christian in good standing with my local church, and believe that I am obligated to pay debts to others first, before myself, and that it is wrong to be even late on a single payment. We have ample income to pay back this loan, and with re-investment, that money won't even be really 'spent' as much as 'recycled.' Further, we look forward to providing our lenders with a source of 'non-fractional reserve' banking interest, for I would rather receive interest from honest families and be helping them out, rather than big impersonal banking conglomerates. Note: The DTI includes the amount you are requesting to borrow. I have no outstanding loans at all. I am also married & my wife is working full time, and her income is not reflected in this listing. We also have a great deal of other savings/investments, but they are not very liquid. Repayment will not be a problem. Monthly net income: $ 1662 after 401K withdrawl, taxes Monthly expenses: $ 888.89 Housing: $ 400.00 rent (shared equally with spouse, who is employed also) Insurance: $ 85.58 Car expenses: $90 gas/repairs Utilities: $12.25 water; $50 electricty = $62.25 Phone, cable, internet: $ 61.06 Food: $160 Clothing, household expenses $ 30.00 Credit cards and other loans: $0 46.5% of net income is available for savings/loan payment just by myself, not including my wife's income or savings, or 'interest' from re-investment in prosper. A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean & reverent. |
