Purpose of loan: I am excited about taking flying lessons, and have passed my first solo. I would like to use the funds to quickly finish my training, get an instrument rating, and also consolidate some debt into one monthly payment. My financial situation: I am 44 and have never made a late payment in my life. I have too much money tied up in 2 properties and 401Ks, hence the need for this loan. Too much retirement planning! :) Monthly net income: $ 5,200 Monthly expenses: $ 4,760 ($4,160 without the flying lessons, which this loan would cover) Housing: $ 1,100 Insurance: $ 70 Car expenses: $ 300 (gas and insurance - it's paid off) Utilities: $ 120 Phone, cable, internet: $ 220 Food, entertainment: $ 800 Clothing, household expenses $ 100 Credit cards and other loans: $ 1,100 Other expenses: $ 750 (flight training - would be financed by this loan). |
