I'm sorry.  But I do not have any pictures to upload. I have gained weight over the past few years and have not taken any recent pictures.

I have always been the type of person who believes that when we are blessed, it is our duty to help be a blessing to others, because in doing so, we are also blessed.  From young adulthood through the time in which I was layed off from my last high-paying job, I have always been the person to call on when others were in need. That is why I am so delighted to be a part of the Prosper family and I look forward to being on the "lending" end in the near future.  However, unfortunately I am now the one in need.

Since I was taught at an early age the importance of maintaining good credit, I began to stress out behind the thought of possibly ruining my credit that I had worked so hard to achieve.  I am a single mom that has recently taken on the task of helping to raise my grandson.  He is a joy to be around.  But with that comes more responsibility on top of what I was already dealing with.  My background is in sales management.  But in Oct 2004, I was layed off and this is when it all began.  I took that as a sign that it was time to pursue my dream of becoming an entrepreneur.  So I began spending a lot of time doing research, networking, attending business classes, etc. in an effort to get my business up and running.  But time began slipping away and after 6 months or so, I ran out of money and it was time to begin my search for employment so that I could continue to make ends meet.  So I took on a job initially paying 1/3 of the salary I was accustomed to making and as a result, the bills and creditor calls continued to roll in.  Now that I've been with my employer for a while, I am finally beginning to see the financial results of my sales efforts and get back on track.  Additionally, I have taken on a contractor position which allows me to work from home while earning extra income, so I still get the opportunity to spend time with my grandbaby.  Through the help of Prosper and it's lenders, my hope is that I will be able to get funded so that I can consolidate my credit card debt to assist me in my efforts of debt consolidation. The interest rates on my credit cards are outrageous.

I am a proud young grandmother.  My grandson is six years old and he is absolutely adorable and continues to amaze me more and more each day.  My desire to consolidate debt is twofold: 1) it will expedite the process of me decreasing my debt and 2) it will allow me to free up some monthly income so I can allocate more towards my grandbaby.  Although I had to return to the workforce, I am still determined to one day live my dream of becoming an entrepreneur.  But this time, I want to make sure that I am prepared.  So I'm starting now to focus on lowering my debt and increasing my credit score.  But to begin this process, I need your help.  Since I'm paying so much each month towards interest, I will be able to use those funds to easily repay my loan.

I truly appreciate and thank you in advance for your consideration of my request for assistance. I'm sorry.
