Purpose of loan:
Funds will be used to upgrade computer equipment so that our 15-year old blind son can take a more active part in this part-time family business.  The computer upgrade will allow him to manage our $100,000 inventory of books, DVDs, Cds, and Classic Videos.  It will also provide the capability  for him to correspond with our existing and potential customers and via email. 

The remaining funds will be used to purchase new inventory.

My financial situation: 
Since a financial disaster 5 years ago, our family has worked very hard to rebuild.  We have failed once and have learned a great deal from that experience.

In addition to a full-time employed father and part-time employed mother we started this business in hopes to teach our children valuable work ethic.  Initially, we didn't think we would be able to make much money.  However, without a huge effort we have built a very solid part-time business that has continued to grow for 4 years.

With this loan we will be able to add the services of our very capable blind son and increase our inventory which should be able to increase our sales 25% - 50%.
