Purpose of loan: Pay off Discover Credit card that is currently charging a rate of 26% interest. My financial situation: My financial situation changed recently with a promotion at work. I have no trouble paying bills. I'd like to decrease the amount of interest I pay to something more reasonable so that I can make more progress. I believe my credit score of A should speak for itself. The reason for my overall debt has a wide range of factors. College, business ventures, las vegas trips.. The business ventures are just now turning profit and will provide extra income outside the $3500 i list below. There is a web development business and entertainment business that took a while to get off the ground. I didnt add it as monthly income at prosper because I think my full time job income more than covers the purpose of the loan. I'm mentioning it because it was part of the cause of my overall debt. Also, I may or may not use that income to pay down credit cards, but to furtther develop those businesses. Monthly net income: $ 3500 Monthly expenses: $ Housing: $ 450 Insurance: $ 60 Car expenses: $ 200 <-- Gas, do not have a car payment. Utilities: $ 200 Phone, cable, internet: $ 200 Food, entertainment: $ 1000 <-- I do not really spend this much, worse case scenario. Clothing, household expenses $ 200 Credit cards and other loans: $ 800 <-- Geared toward paying cards down. Other expenses: $ 100 |
