INTRO Thank you for taking the time to read my loan request! I was in the U.S. Army for 4 years and got out May 2006. Since then I have been going to college to earn my business degree and pursuing my dream of being a Professional Magician. I was first bit by the performing "bug" a couple of years ago in . For the last year I have been diligently practicing magic. I have also been continually performing for small audiences in my local area. It was because of their reactions and continual compliments to my skills that I decided to take my skills to the next level. I decided last month that I would pursue my dream full time. Without risk there can be no reward, right? Well my decision has paid off so far with multiple clients, one of which I am doing bi-weekly performances for. LOAN PURPOSE The purpose of this loan is simply to give me a jump start into the field. This loan would allow me to launch an aggressive marketing plan in order to build a larger client base and to increase my booking fees. It would also enable me to expand my repertoire of magic skills and illusions. Stage illusions are costly but are key to pulling in larger fees of up to $3,000 per show. This would also give me money to create a home office so I can do all my event planning, flier creation, and more without having to go elsewhere. Lastly, this would give me capital to handle expenses during the initial phase of the business when income is just starting to come in. Distribution of Funds: -Home Office Supplies: $1000 -General Magic Supplies: $500 (sponge balls, cards, other magic ?disposables?) -New Magic Illusions: $4000 -Advertising/Marketing: $1000 -Working Capital: $1500 EXPLANATION OF CREDIT PROBLEMS I don't have perfect credit because I am still young and was overseas with the Army. I didn't have any idea how to build my credit. My DTI rating is N/A due to just starting my business and not having the documentations that prosper requires yet. I am committed to doing what it takes to make this work! BUDGET (Please note my income will be increasing with more bookings and clients thanks to your help!) Monthly Income: (current) My Income: $2000/mo. Expenses Before Prosper Loan: Credit Cards/Loans: $200 Rent/Mortgage: $400 Car Payment: $0 (paid off) Insurance: $150 Utilities (phone, cell, gas, electric, water): $150 Food: $150 Clothing: $50 Entertainment: $150 Medical: $80 Miscellaneous: $100 Total Expenses: $1430 Left over: $570 Changes After Prosper Loan: Prosper Loan (payment/mo): ~ $300 Credit Cards/Loans: $500 Total Expenses: $1730 LEFT OVER: $270 CONCLUSION Thank you for taking the time to consider my request! Please let me know if you have any questions. I will be more than happy to answer any that you have! |
