I am seeking a personal loan of $8,000 to exercise my Employee Stock Options. I am an engineer working for a medical device engineering firm for the last 6 years. The company is a public company that has been around for 100 years with robust financials and dividend paying history. Additionally, holding onto these exercised options for 3 years entitles me to 25% bonus shares - which is another big motivation to hold to these options. This loan will be used to exercise the options into stock and underlying tax considerations.
