Hello and thank you for viewing our listing. Purpose Of Loan: We would like to consolidate some of our high-interest debt continuing our progress of getting back on track financially. We are a middle-class, conservative family, own our own home and want to do everything that we can to not only re-build our credit but, to eventually become Debt Free. Sounds strange coming from someone generating a listing to obtain a loan but, I would rather pay the investors using Prosper as an investment tool, than I would pay giant credit card companies and feel like we are just tossing our money to the wind. Our Credit: Our credit took a hit a couple of years ago due to an extended illness but, we are getting back on track now and my wife has gone back to work full-time so with her income, and the debt we will be getting rid of with our Prosper loan, the Prosper payment will not be a problem. We are steadily paying the bills we incurred due to the medical problems but they show delinquent and will remain that way until they are paid off. My Prosper Loan will pay the following : $ 2,100.00 - Chase MC $ 1,487.00 - HFC $ 600.00 - Citibank $ 1,120.00 - Target Visa ---------------- $ 5,307.00 - Total Monthly net income: $ I recently celebrated my 29th year with my company so job stability has not been a problem. I currently make a little over $ 110,000.00 per year and can provide current paystubs or W2's substantiating a steady income for the past 3 years. We make a good salary and are a little embarrassed to be in this position with the incomes that we have but, just need to get over the hump to continue to get out of debt quicker. Monthly expenses: $ Housing: $ 2,840.00 Insurance: $ 400.00 Car expenses: $ 475.00 Utilities: $ 300.00 Phone, cable, internet: $ 160.00 Food, entertainment: $ 350.00 Clothing, household expenses $ 200.00 Credit cards and other loans: $ 950.00 Other expenses (including medical): $ 450.00 Total: 6125.00 With my wife now working full-time and my salary, along with the reduction in the Credit cards & other loans above, we will have $900.00+ left over to be used, not only for our Prosper Payment, but also to attack the remaining medical bills and build an emergency fund so that we never get into this situation again. We are now on a written budget, are working to pay off our debts, smallest to largest, and even though borrowing money is not the way to get out of debt, we feel like reducing the monthly expenses listed above, and getting our credit scores back in line, will allow us to do things in the future like finish our basement and give our teenage children and their friends a safe, supervised place to hang-out and enjoy. We promise that our payments to Prosper will be a top priority each month. In fact, we are going to have Prosper automatically withdraw our payments each month from our bank account so that everyone will know that the payments will be regularly scheduled and on time. We appreciate you taking the time to read our listing and will be glad to answer any additional questions that you may have. |
