Hello and thank you for viewing my listing. I have relisted and lowered my amount requested.
My purpose for applying for this loan is to get out of Debt!
First of all, I would like to tell you a little about myself and my family. I am a mother of one child and I have been married for ten years. I am a school teacher within an inner city school. I made the decision about five years ago to leave my job in software to pursue my passion for teacher. I really enjoy my career; however it is not as well paying as my previous employment. In addition to teaching, I am attending graduate school. If I can get myself out of debt I can focus on my tuition. I currently make $38,461.My credit is ?fair? due to paying for my education as well as my daughter's. Also, when my husband and I were first married, we used credit cards to establish ourselves. Once we got in the credit care hole, it has been a slow process to getting out. (We are getting there!) I made the mistake of looking to Pay Day loans as a short term solution. I need help to dissolve these.I wanted to also explain my debt ratio. I really don't owe that much, however my husband's car and his credit card for business use is in both our names, therefore it is reflected in that number.
I would use the Prosper Loan to pay off the following:
$846 - Pay Day Loan 1 Magnum Cash Advance
$462 - Pay Day Loan 2 My Cash Now
$1800 ? Quick Click Loans @98% interest (I have always paid this high interest rate loan on time. It is 199.18 a month.)
$3108 - Total amount of Debt to pay off
I would be a good candidate for paying back this loan because I receive and have received a stable income for the past fifteen years. I have been currently teaching for 4.5 years. I would like to have my masters by the end of 2008. In addition, once I receive my masters, my income will increase significantly. I also really want to improve my credit score.
In addition, after spending a lot of time on this web site, I would like to reinvest in Prosper. It is an incredible opportunity with limitless potential.
My current monthly net income is $2266. My husband?s is $4000
Here's my monthly budget with the prosper loan in place:
$1250 - House (This is paid out of my husband check.)
$150 - Electricity
$100 - Telephone (Home and cell)
$0 - My Car Payment (Paid off)
$46 - Insurance (medical and dental)
$120 - Gas
$600 - Other Credit Cards Not paid off with loan
$100 - Groceries
$50 - Internet $100 ? Sewer and water
$ 1266- total monthly expenditures
As you can see, I have $1000 left over to be used, not only for my Prosper Payment, but for savings and emergencies so that I NEVER get into this situation again. I can begin to live a normal life free from the stress caused by Pay Day Loans. I have learned my lesson.
I promise that my payments to Prosper will be my top priority each month. In fact, I am going to have Prosper automatically withdraw my payments each month so that everyone, including myself, knows that my payment will be made on time, every time. I'm not about to make a mistake with this opportunity to start rebuilding my credit.
Thank you once again for viewi
