Purpose of loan: The purpose of the loan is to promote my wife's real estate business. The market has been a little sluggish and she has moved from one broker office to another. She is needing to market herself with her new company which is going to incurr some expenses. Because the market has been slow she has not had as many closings and her funds are a little short. She is needing to advertise, both online and in our local newspaper. She is also needing to order new business cards, signs, lock boxes and has new membership fees with her new broker. She is also setting up her office at home which will enable her to do most of her work from home. This will involve purchasing a new desk, fax, printer, scanner, and desktop computer.
(explain what you will be using this loan for)

My financial situation: I am a civil service employee and will complete 3 years on my job in November. Although my past employment layoffs have set us back financially at times, I feel my job is secure and I am blessed with a good salary. I have worked really hard to pay my bills on time and improve my credit score and would be committed to continuing that trend. I would not do anything that would jeopardize my credit rating or score. My wife is also a retired AT&T manager and is currently a real estate agent. Even though the real estate market has been a little sluggish this year, traffic is starting to pick up and she is currently working with some new clients. This time of year is usually the busiest for her so she is taking advantage of it. She would be willing to go back to a full time job if we saw the need to supplement our income.
