Who I am:
I am a loving grandmother and mother of 3 adult children. My husband is retired and receiving social security benefits as well as a pension. I work as a lunchroom supervisor for the Chicago Public Schools where I have been for the past 15 years. I will be eligible for retirement in 5 years but I love my job so much and the children that I just do not see that happening.

Purpose of the loan:
The loan will be used to pay off my daughter?s tuition so she can return to Roosevelt University where she is studying for her Master of Science in Real Estate. My daughter has worked very hard to complete her education and has managed to finance her education completely on her own. I feel this is the least I can do to help. She cannot return to school until the balance is paid and her credit is not sufficient enough to sustain a private loan. She had to withdraw in the middle of the semester for medical reasons therefore forfeiting her financial aid and she now must pay off this debt in order to return to class. She will be eligible for financial aid in the Spring 2008 at which point she will be full time.  That will be her last semester and she will graduate in May 2008.

Current Balance:   $2,303
Fall Semester:       $4,254  for 6 credit hours
Books:                   $  200

Current credit rating:
I filed for bankruptcy in 2005 after my husband lost his job and I had to make the mortgage payments alone. We have since sold the property and my husband and I are currently renting an apartment. We have only one credit card that we use for emergencies that currently has a zero balance. Neither of us drive, we take public transportation, therefore our bills are minimal.

Debt to Income:
As I said we only have our rent to pay and utilities.

Why you can be assured I will pay you back:
I am a hardworking individual that is not only trying to help my family but also wants to improve my credit score. Prosper offers a better rate and better terms than other lending institutions given my past credit history.

My Current Budget:
Rent: $500                                                 Prosper Loan Payment: $289
Credit Cards 1@ $00 balance
Groceries: $300
Utilities: $300

My husband?s Social Security and Pension can pay for all of our expenses. I have sufficient income to pay the prosper loan.

Thank you for considering my loan request. I pray that I am able to help my daughter complete her educational goals
