Purpose of loan: I will be using this loan to pay for two months rent during my summer semester of college and also the books I will need for my classes. My financial situation: I work as a Student Assistant at a local library in my area. I get paid every two weeks. I have other bills I also pay, which are always paid on time. I am receiving an academic scholarship, but it only covers tuition.I am required to ask for at least $3,001 by GA law, but if I use less than that I will give back however much remains immediately to Prosper once I get the loan. The $490 in rent includes cable, internet, phone, and utilities. In August, it will increase to $500. My grandparents will be contributing as much as they can in helping me payoff the loan. I do have a cell phone, but my grandparents pay the bill because it is on their account. I do not spend money on entertainment on a regular basis and if I do it is about $50. I usually spend maybe $50-$100 on groceries a month. Both of these expenses are shared between my boyfriend and me who will contribute as much as he can in helping me pay off the loan.
