Purpose of loan: Back east, my colleague and I over saw a college textbook buyback company. We did tremendously well! In December 2006, we purchased $365,000 in books. In January, we sold them for $1,200,000! We are now launching the company in California - the state with more colleges and universities than any other! We are raising funds to buyback $20,000 in textbooks this June (We're starting small to test the market). Thus far, we have raised $12,000 in exchange for equity.
