Purpose of loan: The purpose of this loan would be for home improvements. The priority would be replacing the roof on our home. It's condition is not good and I am concerned that the rain and heavy winds that hurricane season usually brings to our area might take it's toll on it. Other improvements might include some remodeling in the kitchen, depending on the roof expense. (explain what you will be using this loan for) My financial situation: I am a civil service employee and will complete 3 years at my present job in November. Although my past employment layoffs have resulted in some financial setbacks, I feel my current job is secure and I am blessed with a good salary. I have worked really hard to pay my bills on time and improve my credit score and am committed to continuing that trend. My wife is also a retired AT&T manager, currently working as a real estate agent. If we felt there was a need to supplement our income, she has agreed to go back to work. No matter what, we would not put ourselves in a position to jeopardize our credit rating and affect our credit score.
