Purpose of loan: The purpose of my loan is to consolidate some credit card debt and bills that accumulated during an unforeseeable event last year. Luckily, income from my job as a manager at a Chicago limousine transportation firm has allowed me to stay above water. Nevertheless, the interest rates on my credit cards and bills have become astronomical. Since the interest rates on these debts have risen as of late (even though I have never missed a payment), it makes sense to consolidate my debt with a Prosper loan. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for a Prosper loan because I have never, ever missed a payment, nor do I intend to start missing payments now. My credit is a priority of mine and I plan to keep it clear of derogatory items. This loan would require me to pay less than what I am paying now, so it is a sensible request. Balances: $ 23,900 Monthly net income: $ 5,400 Monthly expenses: $ 3,465 Prosper monthly payment: ~$900 Montly expenses w/Prosper loan: $ 4,365 This leaves a cushion of $ 1,035 per month.
