Purpose of loan: Several years ago, I was laid off from a management position due to company downsizing. As a result, my credit card bills became behind and my credit was negatively affected. I would use this loan to pay off this old debt.

My financial situation:
I completed graduate school in May of '06. In addition to the Finance degree that I received in '96, I now have a Master's degree in Education. I am employed as a 5th grade teacher for the local public school system.  I make $38,500 a year. My net income is approximately $2,500 a month. This does not include the income that I receive from attending teacher workshops and conferences or the income that I receive from my position as treasurer/secretary at my Father's church. I am able to pay my current bills and student loans with no problem. However, I am in need of a loan so that I can pay off old credit card debt and rebuild my credit.

Monthly net income: $2500

Total monthly expenses: $1800
-Housing: $800
-Utilities: $130
-Phone, cable, Internet: $120
-Food, entertainment: $150
-Clothing, household expenses $100
 -Student loans: $500

Total left after expenses: $700

The credit card balances that I will pay off with this loan are not showing up as revolving credit balances because they were "charged off" by the companies in '03 when I was laid off from my job and attending graduate school on a part-time basis. The credit card balances that I will pay off with this loan are:
First Premier Bank $1506
Household Bank: $1772
Montgomery Ward: $1632

Total needed to pay off credit card balances:
$4910

The $778 balance is an Applied Visa card that also became behind in '03 when I was laid off and in graduate school . It has not been "charged off" yet. I will have this balance paid off in full with my own money by the end of next month.

**** I promise that this loan will be repaid faithfully and on time. Payments will automatically come out of the same account into which my payroll checks are direct deposited. ****

Thank you for your consideration!
