Purpose of loan: I am a full-time college student who is entering my Junior year. I have been fortunate enough to have my parents pay for my tuition and some of my college expenses while I have also worked part-time during my sophomore year. I am now working full-time during the summer wanting to make some repairs on my Jeep Cherokee without having to ask my parents for even more help. I have been working at a Building Supply company since last summer and am now working 40+ hours a week so my income has increased. I made the mistake of taking out a couple of Payday/Title Loans awhile back so $ 1,500.00 of the money will be used to pay those off. The remainder will be used to repair my car which I hope will get me thru my last two years of college. I am a very responsible person who spent his Freshman Year of college being "not-so-responsible", but have buckled down in the last year and really have my goals and plans in focus and ahead of me. I really want to take care of my finances and car repairs without having to go to my parents as they have financial burdens of their own and I would really like to help them out by not being an additional one. My financial situation: I am paying some "Stupid-Tax" in some of my prior financial moves such as the payday loan, not working enough hours, etc. and now realize that no matter what I do in the future, I have to realize the long-term consequences and think ahead rather than just thinking for the moment. I have a HR credit rating based mostly on the fact that I was not working many hours in the past and am now committed to working as much as possible to pay off ALL debts, as well as to save money and get ahead. I do not want to graduate from college in two years with alot of Student Loan Debt and do not want to start off my Work Life and Career already in a huge financial hole. I have no credit delinquencies and want to establish good credit in my name. Monthly net income: $ My net income has increased dramatically over the past few weeks and I will clear (after taxes) approximately $ 1,200.00 - $ 1,300.00 each month. As I stated above, I have GREAT parents who do everything they can to help me get a college education. My parents and grant money pay my Housing, Tuition, Insurance, etc. so I pay for my food, cell phone, books and any other debts or expenses that I or my new puppy Polo (pictured above) incur. Monthly expenses: $ Housing: $ 0 Insurance: $ 0 Car expenses: $ 200.00 Utilities: $ 0 Phone, cable, internet: $ 49.00 Food, entertainment: $ 200.00 Clothing, household expenses $ 50.00 Credit cards and other loans: $ 150.00 Other expenses: $ 75.00 As you can see, with my full time status, and paying off the "Credit Portion" above of $150.00, I will have approx $ 625.00 per month to pay my Prosper Bill and that is without figuring any overtime that I will work. I would be glad to answer any questions or address any concerns you may have if you would like to email me. Thank You In Advance For Having Some Faith In Me And Helping Me Thru School !! |
