I own, free and clear, a 1994 Ford Explorer that needs a little body work and some paint.  Someone banged up the drivers side doors and then fled leaving me with a driveable car with dented doors and exposed metal.  I've contacted my insurance company, but the added cost my premiums might see would be higher than the interest on a small loan from you.  I had enough in savings to have the dents pulled, but I reeally need to get some new paint over the exposed metal, and fill in the remaining surface imperfections and I'd rather try and do it soon than wait while I save for the repairs.

About Me:

I just finished my Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering and am currently employed with a marketing company in a sales role.  I'm looking for a career more closely related to my education but I've had the present job for  more than a year and I make more than enough to pay this loan and my current obligations.

I had some credit problems about four years ago but I've spent the last three years working to correct those mistakes and have not had any late payments durring that time period.  I still have one account that keeps reporting as delinquent even though it isn't and the age of my credit file doesn't help.

Why should you fund this loan?

There are a lot of loan request on this site that you could fund so why pick mine?  I have learned from my past problems and will pay this loan on time everytime.  I am willing to pay a high interest rate and the loan is set to autofund so you'll make a reasonable profit even though I'm going to pay this loan off in less than the full three years.  I want a chance to earn the communities trust, please fund my loan, you won't be dissappointed.
