Purpose of loan: The proceeds of this loan will go to replace the siding on our home, paint the exterior with 20yr paint and refinish our deck. We purchased this home in March of 2006. It was in need of some work so we got a good deal on it. Since then, our son has started his second year in college and our daughter starts in August. We refinanced our home to help our son with his tuition and to make the difference between our daughters scholarships and her tuition costs. I am also completing my BS in July, so there have been expenses there as well. We also paid off four bills with some of the proceeds, which will leave us more than enough to repay our Prosper loan in a timely fashion. My financial situation: My wife and I have worked diligently to repay all of our obligations in a timely manner. In fact, we have not had any late payments of any sort in the past seven years. We are strict budgeters and give careful consideration to every expenditure. In my profile, my DTI is overstated because as stated we recently refinance our home (March 2007) and all of the loans are not showing paid in full. Additionally, we have a rental property and I have student loans that are deferred but show a payment amount none the less. I assure you there will not be any difficulty in repaying our loan.
