My financial situation: I'm a freelance producer/writer/director and recently graduated from USC. Although I'm making a decent living and my cost of living is pretty low, I've hardly been able to make a dent with this particular credit card since the interest rate is so outrageous. I've stopped using the card since the beginning of this year and have brought down my balance from over $4000. I accumulated the debt from school(I put bills, gas, groceries on the card--something I will NEVER do in the future). But since this card has been the bane of my existence for quite a while now, I am determined to wipe out the balance once and for all since this is the one thing standing between me and financial happiness. I have roughly $1000.00 in savings each month and I plan to have the Prosper loan payments drawn out automatically each month so there's no chance of me missing any payments. Monthly net income: $ 2700 Monthly expenses: $ 1500 Housing: $ 675 Insurance: $ 0 Car expenses: $ 50 Utilities: $ 75 Phone, cable, internet: $ 50 Food, entertainment: $ 200 Clothing, household expenses $ Credit cards and other loans: $ 350 Other expenses: $ 100-300 Any help you can provide will help tremendously.
