Purpose of loan: (explain what you will be using this loan for) I was injured in a crosswalk while on an overseas trip. My attorney is working on quantifying the damages at the moment to be submitted to the company driver's insurance. I expect 4-5 months of paperwork to be done since the process is more structured than in the US. I am taking care of bills in the meantime. My financial situation: I am fortunate that I have sufficient leave that I continue to get paid but, after months of treatment and disability accommodations, I need to have funds available for the next few months. The fact that I was not only in a crosswalk but that the lights were green for me to cross means that the settlement to cover my expenses plus pain and suffering are very high.
