Purpose of loan: The purpose of this loan is to purchase a used vehicle to commute back and forth to work. I was not planning on purchasing a car until the fall. Just today a good friend of mine was listing his vehicle for sale. He wanted to trade it in for a new vehicle, but the dealer did not want to give him the true value of the vehicle. He has agreed to sell it to me for less that then the blue book value. Unfortunately, I am just a little short. I am a current lender on Prosper so I thought I would try the barrowing side. Thank you for your consideration. My financial situation: Like most of you I am working to improve my credit. All of my bills are current and I intened to pay this loan back in less than 12 months.
